The tapered series can either be used as a cap or a plug - depending on the application. It is perfectly suited for the protection of threads or to shield conduits und pipes from dirt and moisture. Tolerance = 0.3 - 0.8 mm Used as a plug the stem diameter should exceed the bore hole by 0.2 - 0.8 mm. Used as a cap the inner diameter should be 0.2 - 0.8 mm smaller than the outer diameter you want to protect.
