What does material compliance at emico stand for?
Material compliance describes adherence to all relevant substance guidelines (e.g. REACH, RoHS, PFAS) and ensures that our products are legally compliant and safe to use.
Are all emico products REACH and RoHS compliant?
Yes, all products meet the current REACH and RoHS requirements. Only a few brass items contain lead above 0.1% and are labelled accordingly.
How does emico deal with PFAS and POP substances?
Our materials are free from PFAS, PFOS, PFOA and POP substances. We continuously verify this in close cooperation with our suppliers.
What role does the EUDR regulation play?
The EUDR (EU 2023/1115) regulates deforestation-free supply chains. Our TPG/TPE products are not covered by the regulation and are considered risk-free.
Does the TSCA declaration also apply to exports to the USA?
Yes, our products comply with the requirements of the US TSCA and may be processed and used accordingly.
How often are the declarations updated?
All declarations of conformity are revised and updated at least once a year or when there are changes to the legal requirements.
