What is PEEK?

PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer from the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) family. PEEK consists of repeating ether ("-O-") and ketone ("-C(=O)-") groups in its molecular structure. This special chemical arrangement ensures high thermal stability (melting temperature approximately at 335 °C), chemical resistance and mechanical strength. These properties make it a preferred material for extreme industrial applications.

Why PEEK?

PEEK combines the advantages of metal and plastic: It is lightweight, high-strength, resistant to extreme temperatures and aggressive chemicals - and also offers excellent electrical insulation. The material remains dimensionally stable and durable even under extreme conditions. This makes it ideal for applications where other materials reach their limits, for example, in demanding industries such as medical technology, automotive, and electronics.
